As I sit here by the Christmas tree, sipping my dark-as-the-night heavy winter ale and stuffing my face with chocolates, I realize that this must be a beautiful sight. Me in my obnoxious holiday sweater, surrounded by chocolate wrappers and belching attractively. This sight must have some corresponding music to accompany it.
The also beautiful Jade Williams, aka Sunday Girl, covered a classic brit rock tune last week and took it in a completely different direction. Honestly, I can’t decide which version I like more. Now when you hear this song, instead of having an image of Ed Norton watching a city fall apart, you will picture a slightly geeky ad man stuffing his face on a couch.
